The island of Palaio Trikeri lies in the waters off the end of the Region of Greece known as Pilion on the Eastern side of mainland Greece. As can be seen from the map below the nearest major town is Volos which is about 15 nautical miles distant.
Access is afforded by ferryboat or motor car/taxi. The road options provide the opportunity to travel around the whole of Pilion taking in the fabulous views of the Pagastikos Gulf along with a leisurely tour of some of the most picturesque villages in the whole of Greece.

The drive culminates in a short hop across the water (some 600 metres) from `Alogoporo`, on one of the sea taxis that ply the waters there constantly. Secure parking is available for those that have brought their own cars.

Cars are forbidden on the island.
